Karma Dog Training offers several different packages to get your dog on an adventure while you relax at home or work in the office knowing your fur baby is safe and having fun in the hands of a professional Karma trainer. We will pair your dog with a trainer to go on 7 trips that last two and a half hours each. Your dog will experience the excitement, exercise, and the joy of an adventure combined with personal training.

These packages will include a trainer/adventure guide consultation where you will discuss the goals of the training and come up with a strategy to achieve them. Your Karma trainer will take the time to communicate progress as well as a plan to keep the training going long after the adventure has ended. Each master trainer is equipped with the skill and knowledge to train your dog in any one of these three main focused objectives.

Manners - Your adventure guide/trainer will work with your dog to establish basic obedience groundwork for a happy, healthy pup. These types of excursions are a great opportunity to refresh or create new excellent basic obedience behavior skills.

Off-Leash training or Specialized Skills - This type of training and journey is great for preparing your dog for reliable, focused off-leash experiences. The adventure guide/trainer will work with your dog to be safe, attentive, and well-versed in "come" for any off-leash excursion. Is your pup already great off-leash? This option can also be used for working on specialized skills. Does your dog like Frisbee or fetch? New tricks? Your trainer can help teach them tricks and to play safely and responsibly while having fun and getting the exercise dogs crave and need.

Behavior Modification - The root of issues such as leash aggression or reactivity towards other dogs require attention and usually the assistance of a professional behavior specialist. Karma Dog Training is here to help! Your dog will be partnered with a trainer to help with these types of issues. However, keep in mind dogs need consistency in training for behavioral issues and your trainer will make sure you are on the same page to continue this work moving forward.

Which adventure will you choose?

Park package: Your trainer will take your dog to the nearest dog-friendly park or open field to have a fun-filled day of adventure. These packages are perfect for working on manners and off-leash training as well as behavior modification. Your dog will romp and play and learn any one of your set goals for their training. There's nothing like a run in the park to get all that energy out.

Hiking package: If you like to hike, but are afraid to let your dog off-leash, this is a perfect adventure. Your adventure guide/trainer will answer the call of the wild and take your dog for a hike on the nearest hiking trail. This is a great way to get your dog ready for when YOU want to take them hiking with the knowledge that they will be safely and well-trained to join you on your very own adventure from any one of the three main training objectives as listed above.

Beach package: Surf's up! Many dogs love going to the beach nearly as much as their dog parents. This is a great way to not only get them accustomed to the beach environment but make sure they are well-mannered and adapted to be at a dog-friendly beach. You'll be able to rest easy and work on that tan knowing your dog will already know the ropes for beach etiquette. Your adventure guide/trainer will whisk your pup away to the nearest dog-friendly beach for a day of exercise, fun, and training from one of the three main training objectives listed above.

Kayaking package: Does Mom or Dad like to Kayak? Why not involve the whole family? With the Kayaking adventure package, your dog's adventure guide/trainer will take your dog kayaking at the nearest river or lake to teach them proper behavior for safe Kayaking. Water can be scary for some dogs so this is a great opportunity to train your dog to share your adventurous spirit for kayaking.

Stores/Busy streets adventure: Want to take your dog shopping with you but are unsure how they'll act in stores, outdoor restaurants, cafes, or on busy streets? Send them on a store adventure! Your trainer will take your dog on a tour of different stores, shops, and restaurants to make sure they are well-behaved and comfortable in various shopping environments so when the time comes to go shopping with you, you'll be the envy of all those other dog parents. This is also a great opportunity to familiarize and train your dog with how to navigate busy streets. Busy streets can be loud, distracting, and somewhat scary, but with proper training from your adventure guide will be a breeze for your lucky pup.

Aside from your dog having fun, the adventure packages serve several purposes:

Training: Your pooch gets solid, professional one-on-one training in different environments that you may enjoy as well so that when you're ready to do them together, your dog already has the foundation of proper manners to do these fun activities.

Exercise: All dogs must get plenty of exercise. When a dog has proper exercise they are more at ease, less anxious, and most importantly, healthy.

Exposure: By exposing your dog to different environments you are setting them up for success by being very well rounded, and therefore, better behaved in whatever fun activities you may choose.
